Bright Shelter's debut album 'Surrender' is a sonic journey to the depths of emotions and memories. This collection of reflective and uplifting tunes draws inspiration from a personal inner growth journey.

Written between 2015 and 2023, the album developed from melancholic to a collection of uplifting melodies. With similar melodies and rhythms, the original songs were dark and gloomy, and over the years developed into a much brighter, optimistic, and happier form.

The album artwork is a picture of the first light of a new day, a metaphor for this change. This picture was taken at the time of the recording of the first demo for the title song, and it conveys the same sense of hope and optimism captured in the album.
